Custom Features

One of the advantages of buying a bicycle trailer from a local, independent metal shop is that you can ask me to add just about any feature you can imagine. Here are some features from trailers I've made in the past:
  • Welded railing to corral cargo between wheels
  • Removable railing
  • Welded struts over wheels with built-in fenders
  • Lowered deck for more stability
  • Custom name plate
  • Bolt-on hitch arm for compact storage and shipping
  • Hitch welded to bicycle frame
  • Drum brake wheels
  • Light mounts/guards for generator-powered lights
  • Center mount hitch for the back of an Xtracycle/Big Dummy
  • Electric assist

Here are some ideas for features I haven't tried yet:

  • Welded railing with tailgate
  • Adjustable height trailer bed
  • Disc brake wheels
  • Full cargo enclosure
