We'll modify your bike in the style of an old Schwinn Cycletruck. You get a smaller front wheel, a longer head tube, and a big heavy duty rack welded to the front of your frame. It's much more stable than a typical fork-mounted rack or basket.
This is a press-in clamp-on kit that turns your bike into a cycletruck without any permanent frame modification! Currently we build these one at a time to match the geometry of your frame and ensure your bike handles well. For $500, you get a new fork, a 20" x 16" heavy duty rack, and the clamp hardware. The fork and rack are powder coated the color of your choice. We will install the kit on your bike for an additional $50. Let us know if you want any additional features such as a light mount or screw-down points for a platform.
