Adventure School Bike

A custom long-tail built by cutting the rear end off of a mountain bike and welding a new rear triangle with integrated rack and center stand. The rack supports a slider which can be engaged against the rear wheel to spin a variety of attachments. Here you see the blender attachment.

Pedal-Powered Parade Float

Eight people pedal this modified 1971 Jeep frame. A ninth person operates the steering wheel and brake lever. All the bikes are independently geared and drive a common shaft which connects to the existing differential on the rear axle. The platform is 8' wide by 16' long. Needless to say, it's quite heavy, but the low gearing allows it to climb the hills of Seattle with a full crew pedalling.
